Waiting for the Plane.

So it’s about quarter after 8 and I finally got through everything in the airport and I’m just waiting at the gate. My plane doesn’t leave for another hour and a half and the only thing I am waiting to do in that time is watch the UConn vs. Oklahoma game. I still wish I was able to go and actually see the game but I can live with watching it from the airport for now. I have met one of the guys in my group and there is a group of the girls sitting behind him. We at least said hi and acknowledged them but remained where we were and kept to ourselves. I do feel bad for the few guys in our group. There are 3 of them and 17 of us. It’ll be interesting to see how all of this works out. My flight leaves around 10 and it’s only six and a half hours long, which isn’t bad, so I’ll be landing in Dublin a little after 3 am here and 9 am there. I’ll be 6 hours ahead of everyone which will take a little getting used to. I know that I should sleep on the plane but to be completely honest there won’t be too much of that going on until after the bowl game is over. I’m really hoping that if they don’t win that UConn will at least make it a close game. They really can play football when it comes down to it and I think they have a fighting chance, but we’ll see. All I know is that pre-game and half time are the real important parts. I can’t wait to watch the UCMB perform and I know they’ll do a wonderful job. I look forward to watching the OU band perform again. As much as I may watch football, marching band is where it’s at. Best of luck UCMB! Let’s go Huskies! J
